Erin had been looking forward to her baptism for ages and on Saturday, the day had finally arrived:-)
We don't have our own church building in Sønderborg yet, so we travelled to the nearesrt building, which is in Flensburg, just across the German border.
Unfortunately, all the snow meant that we were missing quite a lot of family on the day and had to make a lot of changes to the program, but Erin had a great day nonetheless and she was the one who decided to still go ahead. Nanny and uncle Daniel were still able to travel over for the baptism from Norwich and we had a really good time with them (and I thoroughly abused having Jeanette here and put her to work the whole time, so she probably needs a holiday now! But thanks so much for all of your help, Jeanette!)
Usually we can't get Joshua in a picture, but on Saturday we couldn't get him out of one... kids' logic me thinks...
Mormor, morfar, Nadja and Ben sent flowers in the morning, because they were snowed in and couldn't make the baptism. Erin loved them, thanks!
