I really should get some of the pictures from last month on here... I think I'll just do a quick little recap and post some pictures.
For some reason they've uploaded completely in the wrong order and moving this many pictures around on this program takes ...well way too long for me to attempt, so they'll just stay the way they are. -Sorry!
This was how tightly packed our car was on the way home from my parents in Germany after Christmas. Packed with christmas presents as well as the things Quentin and I brought home from England. Thank goodness for Quentin's excellent Tetris skills!!
I drove all the way homw (only seven hours as opposed to the twelve he drove on the way down in a blizard!) and halfway home I asked how his legs were. (Nobody could move their legs for all the STUFF we were bringing home) He just said "they're ok. I can't feel them anymore..."
At least, as you can see, spirits were high (thank goodness!)
Cousins concentrating
On a walk down to pick up the kids from school I had to run back for my camera, as everything looked as though it had been dipped in sugar. Doesn't it look just like candied fruits?! Very beautiful and dangerous. I don't know how many times the pram has saved me from frapping over!
I also tried taking a Christmassy picture of the kids. It took quite a few tries. Liam kept crawling off and the other two ended up in fits with my attempts to keep him there and all the silly things I was doing to get him to smile.
I love this one with Liam's you're-so-silly-mum-expression:-)
I finally got this one, which I really like. They look like little angels (the lies a picture can tell muahahaha)
And so we added a nicotine 70's look to it for our christmas letter, which only half of you got as usual, as I never got around to translating it (ahem...)
Making "Lucia breads" -A Scandinavian Christmas tradition.
My son, Kim Larsen:-)
Right after Christmas I surprised Quentin with a date trip to England as a 10th anniversary present. We had a lovely trip and didn't realise until the next morning, when speaking to Ertin on the phone from the hotel room in London, that everyone back at my parents had got a sickness bug and were fighting each other for the bathrooms. It was an absolute nightmare few days for my poor family. Yet when we got back, the children thought they'd had a great time. Thank you, we owe you! is all we can say!
The London temple grounds decorated for Christmas.
Quentin and Liam on a London train. Liam was the warmest kid in all of London. We were amazed at how little the other kids were wearing (ie no gloves, hats, snow suits etc and often they would put their arms up and their bellies would show brrrr.) We decided to start a company exporting snow suits to England:-)
This is what it looked like here on the morning of the 23rd, the day we were meant to travel to Frankfurt. It had been clear the day before but there was a blizard all night. Hence the fact that the trip took 12 long, slow hours!
Football tournament. I love this picture because Joshua is on the end of his team and just put his arm around the guy from the opposing team too. So cute:-) Although, look how far back his arm stretches, freaky!
He's super proud of his medal, as you can probably tell from the look on his face:-)
Christmas party at church. I like thios picture of Erin. She thought it was both hysterical and embarrasing that her best friend's dad was Father Christmas and that he kept talking to her as Santa even though she knew who he was. She's getting so big:-)
And I just really like this picture of those two lovely men / boys:-)
So there we have it. A complete jumble of memories from last month! But at least they're on here now.
